When Inferiority complex Is Actually A Blessing

We all might have had our own share of this "Inferiority Complex" it's one thing I have always battled with as a child and most especially as a teenager.

According to Merriam Webster dictionary, it's a belief that you less worthy or important than other people.

Although low self esteem and inferiority complex may seem to have the same meaning however, there's a line of difference.
What is the difference between low self-esteem and inferiority complex?
Imagine that you are going to buy a new pair of jeans. In the next dressing room is a person trying on the same brand and style of jeans. You both look into the mirror in the hall:
Those jeans fit her way better than me, she has the right curves in all the right places, and I’m just as flat as a washboard without the ripples, mind you! She can wear high heels and look great, I have corns on my toes, and can’t wear heels. Well, I’ll try some white snickers, they may not look as great as heels, but I can make it work with those jeans. THAT IS LOW SELF ESTEEM.
Those jeans are not for me.. they are made for shapely girls like her.. I can never look as good as she.. I’m just a troll.. nothing ever fits me well because I’m so disproportional, not pretty like those other people. Well, what can you expect from an ugly duckling like me.. living in a world of majestic looking swans. everybody is better looking than me, and clothes look nice on them, but never look good on me. I should quit even trying on clothes, because clothes are made for shapely people, and not for someone like me. THAT IS AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX.
You can simply say the difference is low self esteem is normal and quite healthy but inferiority complex isn't a healthy one at all.
         Disadvantages
1. It gives you this feeling of rejection even for no just cause
2. Loss of opportunity due to timidity and fear: One of the never to forget days of my college days is the day I couldn't speak up for my defence in the presence of a fierce teacher. It happened that the Rotary club Portharcourt branch intervened  in helping  build good toilets for the students which the school has failed to do for so many years. So our literature teacher asked us to write a poem of appreciation. We were over 500 students mine was chosen though fewer students participated . On the day of the commissioning, he asked me to wait at a corner while he go get something (because it was only selected students that were allowed to be there) to cut the story short, because the place later became crowded by curious students who were eager to see whats going on, a teacher came and started flogging people randomly to get inside, I was flogged and wounded by the teacher and also missed the opportunity to present in the presence of such honourable men because I could not open my mouth to tell him a senior teacher asked me to and I needed to recite a poem.
3. It makes people take you for granted: You don’t expect people to appreciate you when you don’t even appreciate yourself. You teach people how to treat you you know.
      Advantages
You shocked? It's true everything that has disadvantages have advantage
1. This set of people will probably end up becoming someone great later on in life because they are always seeking ways to be happy with themselves, always looking for ways to look appreciated and accepted.

Look out for: How come I had inferiority complex
